Mr. Casiano is the former Chair of the Elder Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association as well as the outgoing Chair of the Estate Planning Committee of the ABA’s GP Solo Section and is one of several attorneys chosen to represent the bar on the San Diego Superior Court Probate Rules Committee. Mr. Casiano is a charter member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners as well as a Founding Member of the Wealth Counsel Advisor’s forum and a Director Member of BEI’s Network of Exit Planning Advisors. Mr. Casiano is a former Fellow of the ABA’s Real Property Probate and Trust Section (2001-2003). Mr. Casiano is currently a member of the Estate Planning Trust and Probate Section of the American Bar, California Bar and San Diego Bar Associations, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform (CANHR). Mr. Casiano has served as a delegate to the State Bar of California Conference of Delegates (2002-2004). Mr. Casiano is a frequent lecturer to both lay persons and professional groups in the areas of estate planning, elder law, business succession planning, asset preservation, special needs planning, conservatorships (both contested and non-contested), probate, trust administration, elder abuse and will and trust disputes. |
